Debra Hiles opened JCP Styling Salon in February 2001 after embarking on her own amazing journey of transformation and healing. She started this salon after being notified of the closure of Anderson’s JcPenny Department Store in late 2000, where she successfully built a loyal clientele and managed the JcPenny’s Styling Salon. In 1990, Debra was overworked and overstressed – caught up in the high paced world of finance. Seeing the toll it took on her life and the impact that overworking the body and spirit had on her physical health and interpersonal relationships, she decided to develop a skill that would help people feel better. She fell in love with hair care right away, noticing how happy they made people feel with a new style. After much learning and personal growth, Debra decided to leave her stress behind and started a career that has brought so much happiness to others since 2001. Since beginning her career in 2001, Debra has learned advanced hair techniques, by keeping up with the most up-to-date hair trends and quickly built a reputation as a hair salon professional with a down-to-earth persona. She developed her own unique styles while providing outstanding customer service, which is unmatched anywhere in the Greater Anderson Area.

Since the first time of opening the doors of JCP Styling Salon in 2001, the word has gotten out throughout the Anderson area about the outstanding service the stylists at JCP Styling Salon provides. While other local businesses have closed their doors in the recent years, JCP Styling Salon’s continued success has led to consistent growth within the Anderson community as they have grown from 2 to 10 hair care professionals, while expanding their services into a full service salon. Their understanding of how spiritually uplifting it is to feel good about one’s appearance has made JCP Styling Salon as Anderson’s most unique hair salon. They have learned that helping others has further uplifted their spirits.
